Grill owner, Bill Kane will direct you to a couple of other parking lots.

lot, so you have access to Topsham, Barre and Groton trails.
- New Discovery parking lot is located
on Groton State Forest Highway 232. Just above the Upper Valley Grill is the US Jct. 302 and 232. Go about 11 miles
on Highway 232, New Discovery Parking lot will be on your left. This parking lot puts you right onto snowmobile Route
- South Ryegate Ball Field
is sometimes open for parking. Travel west on US Route 302 from I-91, exit
17. The South Ryegate ballfield is on the left just after the first caution light and Church. Watch for signs
"SNOWMOBILE PARKING" and "VAST Trails to Rt. 5, Jct. CA 1, Rt. 302 and Groton". You will have to
ride your snowmobile a short distance, on the edge of the blacktop, until you get to the dirt road called "Brown's
